COVID Policies

Update: February 24, 2021

Dear Library Community,

Thank you for your ongoing support! We are grateful for your patience and understanding as the Library undergoes extensive interior and exterior renovations.

The completion of these construction projects will bring new study rooms, an eating area, an updated exhibition space, new carpets, fresh paint and completely renovated patio, garden, and green spaces for gathering outdoors at our scenic Delaware River location. We are excited about these updates, but more than anything, we look forward to welcoming you back into our building and are counting down the days until we can reopen. Follow us on social media for updates!

As a reminder, while the Grundy Library building is closed to the public, we are still here for you!

Take advantage of these services while our building is closed:

If you need assistance, call us during library hours of operation – 215.788.7891 – or contact us online.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

Library Service Restoration Plan

Our Library Service Restoration Plan below provides an overview of our reopening including 5 levels of services throughout which we slowly ease restrictions until we reach level 0, which is a return to normal.

This situation is fluid and so is our plan for restoring services. As restrictions ease, we will be monitoring community spread closely and, if needed, will return to a more restrictive level of service in order to protect the health and safety of our patrons and staff.

In addition to instituting COVID-19 mitigation efforts, we are also in the midst of an extensive construction project that may also impact our services. Please know that we will do our best to minimize any further disruptions.

We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
