Pick Up Holds

Holds can be placed in person at the Library or online.

Holds (reserved items) may be picked up from the Holds Pickup shelf located directly across from the Check Out Desk. Materials are identified by the first three digits of the patron’s last name and the last three digits of their library card number.

Once you pick up your Holds, please check them out at either the Check Out Desk or the Self-Checkout Station.

Self-Checkout

The Self-Checkout Station is available at the center of the Library near the Check Out Desk. You can check out or renew books yourself in a fast and secure way. To use the Self-Checkout Station, you must have a valid Grundy or Bucks County Library Card and PIN.

The Self-Checkout Station has a large monitor that easily and quickly takes you through the checkout process.

Note: If you have large fines, overdue books, or your full quota of books, you will be referred to the Check Out Desk. Certain items cannot be checked out at the station, including:

  • Items which have been requested by another borrower
  • Protected DVDs (must be requested from staff)

You can take the printed receipt after finishing a transaction since this will tell you when a book is due back. You may also check the due date or renew your books online

Please do not hesitate to ask one of our Library staff members for assistance.
